Because of the popularity of NFL betting, there are numerous bets available at all the best betting sites.Moneyline is the easiest bet to make when getting started with this sport, as you just need to predict the winner of a NFL game.
Point spreads represent a point total that a team is predicted to win or lose by and it is safe to say that betting on NFL point spreads is probably one of the most popular wagering options nowadays.
Game Totals are also knows as Over/under. Punters must decide if they think the point total will fall above or below a given mark and place a wager on it. So you either root for or against points and don’t have to worry about which team is winning or how close the game is.
Proposition bets, also called prop bets, are wagers that can be made on just about any occurrence that can happen during the game or a season and you can surely find tons of NFL Player Props, NFL Team Props, NFL Super Bowl Props, NFL Draft Props and NFL Free Agent Props even on new betting sites.

NFL Teams, Conferences and Divisions
The NFL is divided into two conferences: the American Football Conference (AFC) and the National Football Conference (NFC). Each conference consist of 16 teams and are both divided in four divisions of four teams each. Here are the four regional divisions for the American Football Conference (AFC):
AFC North
The Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers make up the four teams in the AFC North division.
AFC South
The Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Tennessee Titans make up the four teams in the AFC South division. The AFC South possesses the least Super Bowl victories of all NFL divisions with two. The Colts claim both titles.
AFC East
The Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, and the New York Jets make up the four teams in the AFC East division. The Patriots and Steelers both have more Super Bowls (6) than three NFL divisions.
AFC West
The Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, and the Los Angeles Chargers make up the four teams in the AFC West division. The Chiefs currently are back to back champions. The National Football Conference (NFC) is divided into the following regional groups:
NFC North
The Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and the Minnesota Vikings make up the four teams in the NFC North division.
NFC South
The Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers make up the four teams in the NFC South.
NFC East
The Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, and the Washington Commanders make up the four teams in the NFC East division. The NFC East is undeniably the greatest of the NFL Divisions with 13 Super Bowl championships.
NFC West
The Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, and the Seattle Seahawks make up the four teams in the NFC West division
How The NFL Regular Season and NFL PlayOffs Work
For the first time in 2021, each team played 17 games in the regular season rather than the previous 16.
Two years ago the league also increased the NFL playoff from 12 to 14 teams to feature seven teams per conference. That includes the eight division winners, plus six wild cards awarded to the three best teams from each conference who failed to win their division. Hence, an extra wild-card team has been added in the NFC and AFC.
The teams in each conference are seeded from one to seven based on their regular season records. The four division winners in the two conferences secure the top four seeds, regardless of their regular season record. Anyway, only the No. 1 seeds in each conference will have first-round byes.
The expanded NFL playoff will feature four rounds: Super Wild Card Weekend, Divisional round, Championship round and Super Bowl.
The Wild Card Weekend will feature six games instead of four while the Divisional round wil feature four games. The four winning teams from the Divisional round advance to the Conference Championships and play for a place in the Super Bowl.
Who will win the 2025 Super Bowl?
The Kansas City Chiefs are the favorite to win the Super Bowl again, closely followed by their Super Bowl LVIII rivals, the San Francisco 49ers.
No team in the history of the game has won three-straight Super Bowls but as long as Patrick Mahomes stays healthy, the Chiefs (6/1) are going to have a shot to pull it off. They added another weapon to their offensive arsenal, trading up to select WR Xavier Worthy.
After losing two Super Bowls in five years, the San Francisco 49ers (13/2) will make it third time lucky after keeping their stacked roster together. With a dynamic quarterback situation featuring Brock Purdy, and the return of star running back Christian McCaffrey, the Niners' are primed for another big season.
The Detroit Lions (13/1) surprisingly won the NFC North last year, with a record of 12-5. In the playoffs, the club defeated the Rams and Buccaneers to make it to the NFC title game. Will the go one step ahead this season?
The Cincinnati Bengals (16/1) reached the Super Bowl two years ago and were a bit unlucky last season. But even with quarterback Joe Burrow injured last season, they almost beat Patrick Mahomes' Chiefs in week 17. That said so much about how strong their team are and their winning chance this season.
The Baltimore Ravens (10/1) finally have a big chance of dethroning the Chiefs, thanks largely to the dynamism of reigning MVP Lamar Jackson and the new exciting sign of Derrick Henry.
The Philadelphia Eagles (16/1) stormed out of the gates a season ago with a record of 10-1 but then lost five of their last six games to finish at 11-6, before exiting in the play-offs by suffering a defeat on the road against the Buccaneers. In the early days of free agency, the club bolstered its backfield by inking a deal with Saquon Barkley.
Dark horses?
In our opinion, the Los Angeles Chargers, Green Bay Packers, Houston Texans, Atlanta Falcons and Cleveland Browns have good chances to be the surprise packages of the season.
On the other side, teams like the Dallas Cowboys, New York Jets, and the Buffalo Bills could be the biggest underperfomers this year.
