AC Milan have lost just one of their last 15 home games in Serie A

Milan have won five of their last six games in Serie A and have only lost one of their last 10 in the league. After back to back defeats in the Milan derby and against Betis Seville, the Rossoneri have won three matches in a row - against Sampdoria, Genoa and Udinese - courtesy also of 2 last-gasp goals scored by centre-back Leandro Romagnoli. They sit 4th in the Serie A table four points below 2nd placed Inter Milan and Napoli, while they trail Betis in Europa League by one point and level on points with Olympiakos. The last direct encounter saw the Rossoneri losin 4-0 in the Coppa Italia final. AC Milan suffered defeats also in last season's league matches - 2:0 at S.Siro and 3:1 in Turin.

Good news for manager Gennaro Gattuso. Gonzalo Higuain should be 100% fit and lead the line, with Samu Castillejo behind him in the number 10 role. In the 4-4-1-1 starting system, Suso and Diego Laxalt will play out wide while, given the absence of Lucas Biglia, the likes of Franck Kessiè and Tiemoue Bakayoko will anchor the midfield. In midfield, Mateo Musacchio will be sidelined for the next two months and Christian Zapata will partner Leandro Romagnoli at the center. Davide Calabria is favoruite over Ignazio Abate for the right back spot, with Ricardo Rodriguez sure to retain his berth on the other side. Ivan Strinic and Mattia Caldara are both out though injury.

The Bianconeri have almost a perfect record in the Serie A, having won 10 games and drawn the other one (1-1 against Genoa). The Old Lady have won their last 5 matches against AC Milan in all competitions including last season's three encounters by a combined score of 9-1.
