ARGENTINA v CROATIA BETTING PREVIEW

Argentina continue their preparations for the 2015 Copa America. They played 3 friendlies after the final of the World Cup - the Albiceleste won in Germany (2-4), lost in Brazil (2-0) and trashed Hong Kong (0-7) on their home ground.

Coach Tata Martino hasn’t called up players from the domestic league but the South Americans will play with almost best possible line-up against Croatia on this friendly as Messi, Tevez, Mascherano, Pastore, Di Maria and Premier League top scorer Aguero are all set to play in the starting XI. They last conceded a goal at their disappointing World Cup campaign, going on a four-match winning run since their loss to Mexico. On 16th November they will play a difficult Euro 2016 qualifying match in Italy and because of this they will play with their reserve players and players from their own Croatian league.

A number of regular national team players as Subasic, Srna, Lovren, Kovacic, Modric, Perisic, Rakitic, Mandzukic, Kramaric and Pranjic will be rested for this match. Barcelona starlet Alen Halilovic should play some part, while 18-year-old defender Tin Jedvaj is tipped to start.

Argentina have met Croatia three times previously, with both teams winning once and another clash finishing level. When Argentina and Croatia met in an international friendly eight years ago Croatia emerged triumphant (3-2)
