ARSENAL v CHELSEA BETTING PREVIEW 

Arsenal have been in China longer than Chelsea and will be in good spirits after beating Bayern Munich on penalties earlier this week, after Alex Iwobi scored a late equalizer against the Bavarians. The game against Chelsea gives Arsene Wenger another opportunity to trial three defenders at the back, which has been test in games against Australian A-League opposition as well as Bayern Munich. Arsenal and Chelsea met three times last season, with the Gunners winning two and the Blues one. These two teams will meet on the 6th August in the Community Shield.

A number of players are doubts for this game, with Wenger confirming that Kolasinac, Theo Walcott, Per Mertesacker, Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud have been laid low by food poisoning. Big summer signing Alexandre Lacazette should be getting a run out, with Mesut Ozil few meters behind the Frenchman as Alexis Sanchez isn’t with the squad because of international commitments over the summer. Furthermore, the Gunners will be without Wojciech Szczesny, who has signed for Serie A giants Juventus.



Chelsea hammered west London neighbours Fulham 8-2 in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Cobham on Saturday. After this clash, Antonio Conte's side will go to Singapore to face Bayern Munich and Inter Milan in the International Champions Cup. This will be the first chance to get a revenge, as Arsenal prevailed 2-1 in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium two months ago.

There is no Eden Hazard for the Blues on tour and Alvaro Morata is yet to join up with his new team. Furthermore, Diego Costa will not play as the Spaniard is on his way to move to Atletico Madrid. Nemanja Matic also is not part of the squad, with speculation intensifying that the Serbian is set for a Stamford Bridge exit. New signings Tiemoue Bakayoko and Antonio Rudiger will both hope to feature and will be eager to impress but the Blues may have a very familiar look to their side on Saturday. New signing from Manchester City Willy Caballero is included in the panel and he will battle it out with Thibaut Courtois to start in goal.
