BARCELONA v MANCHESTER UTD BETTING PREVIEW
Barcelona beat Serie A giants Juventus 2-1 last Saturday, thanks to a brace from Neymar. The Blaugrana have games against Real Madrid and Chapecoense scheduled before their Spanish Super Cup first leg against Real Madrid in the middle of August. These two teams last met in July 2015 and Manchester United won the game 3-1.Neymar is expected to start, despite the fact he could be on the verge of leaving the club. He could form the deadly MSN attacking trio alongside Leo Messi and Luis Suarez. Following their Confederations Cup partecipation, goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen and new signing Nelson Semedo are finally joined up with the team and are expected to play at some stage. New signings Gerard Deulofeu and Marlon also are likely to play in the second half.
Manchester UTD defeated their local rivals Manchester City in their ICC opening match (2-0), courtesy of goal scored by Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford. Then, Jose Mourinho's men defeated Real Madrid on penalties over the weekend, after the 90 minutes ended with a 1-1 scoreline. Prior to these two matches the Red Devils smashed in seven goals in two friendlies against Major League Soccer outfits Real Salt Lake and LA Galaxy. They have another three friendlies lined up before they face Real Madrid again in the UEFA Super Cup.
Lukaku and Paul Pogba were only used as substitutes in that game and they are expected to be in the starting XI this time. Victor Lindelof and Henrikh Mkhitaryan also are expected to start while Marcus Rashford could be initially rested. Ander Herrera suffered an injury during Sunday's penalty shootout win over Real Madrid and will miss out.
