AC Milan beat Bordeaux 2-1,at the Stade Alfred Armandie on July 17 to start their preseason under new manager Vincenzo Montella with a win before moving to USA to begin the International Champions Cup. The Rossoneri, who have endured something of a fall from grace in recent years and finished seventh in Serie A in 2015-16 , will face Liverpool and Chelsea in the US after their clash with Bayern.

Carlos Bacca will be a notable absentee from Milan’s International Champions Cup campaign. M'Baye Niang and Suso are expected to lead the line with Menez and Bonaventura providing support form the flanks. In defense, Mattia De Sciglio is likely ot miss out while Gabriel Paletta and Alessio Romagnoli will play as central defenders.
