When is the Eurovision Song Contest 2022?
The ESC will run across three unmissable evenings this year, starting on Tuesday 10 May for the first semi-final then Thursday 12 May for the second.
The Eurovision Grand Final will take place on Saturday 14 May in Turin (Italy).
All live events will start at 8pm UK time.
The live final will be broadcast on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds in Great Britain.
Who is the Favourite to win Eurovision 2022?
At the top of the odds, Ukraine continues to extend its lead as the favourite to win. The rap band Kalush Orchestra is now backable at 4/6 and is heavy tipped to triumph amid the Russian invasion of their country. Calculated winning chances are 49%, hence we expect odds to shortening around 1/2.
Their song “Stefania” is an absolute masterpiece and is exactly the kind of song that deserves the highest possible accolade.
Both Italy and Sweden have dropped back a bit behind Ukraine, while Spain (Chanel) and United Kingdom (Sam Ryder) odds are shortening.
Host nation Italy - with top performers Mahmood and Blanco - is now third favourite, with the Swedish Cornelia Jakobs in fourth.

He co-wrote 'Space Man' with Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Amy Wadge and Max Wolfgang, who have been involved in projects with Ed Sheeran and BTS.
