CELTIC v PSG BETTING PREVIEW 

Celtic leads the Scottish Premiership and had a pretty good start of the season. They only drew 1-1 at home against St.Johnstone before the International break but returned to winning ways last Friday when they beat 4-1 Hamilton Academical away from home. The Bhoys been drawn in the group of death in Champions League, with the French giants and German champs Bayern Munich and will need to feed off their energetic home crowd. . The Scottish giants failed to win a single group stage match last season but Brendan Rodgers guided his side past Rosenberg and Astana in the qualification round and will wnat to improve in this campaign.

Rodgers has already ruled out defenders Erik Sviatchenko and Dedryck Boyata but revealed Moussa Dembele could feature. Nir Bitton is expected to play as centre-back. Up front, Leigh Griffiths also is doubtful for the hosts. Odsonne Edouard, on loan from PSG until the end of the season, is expected to be benched but will start up front if neither Dembele or Griffiths are fit enough to start. Tom Rogic is expected to start in the No.10 role, replacing Stuart Armstrong, while Patrick Roberts is liable to be prefered to James Forrest.



Paris Saint-Germain have started Ligue 1 with five wins from five after spending €400 million to secure the services of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. They have scored an incredible 19 goals in 5 games - conceding just three - a record that included the 5-1 away victory over Metz last time out. Edinson Cavani and Neymar have made a blistering start in Ligue 1 with the latter scoring four in four and Cavani netting an impressive seven goals. PSG have also won the French Supercup at the end of July by beating Monaco 2-1.

Dani Alves and Layvin Kurzawa should both return after being rested at the weekend while Marco Verratti will return from a a three-match domestic ban, of which he has served two. The Italian will form the three man midfield with Adrien Rabiot and Thiago Motta, while Javier Pastore and Julian Draxler provide options should Emery decide to play with a 4-2-3-1 system. Angel Di Maria went off injured in Argentina’s 1-1 draw with Venezuela and could be a doubt for the game. Defender Thiago Silva could also miss due to a knock picked in Brazil's match against Colombia.
