Celtic enter this match on the back of a 4-2 win over Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Saturday to make it 3 wins and a draw in 4 matches at the start of the new Scottish Premier League season. The Bhoys recorded a comfortable win over Icelandic side Stjarnan in the Champions League first round play-off. It was much tighter last time though against Azerbaijani club Qarabag as the Hoops edged the first game 1-0 thanks to a Dedryck Boyata goal before drawing 0-0 in Baku.

Nadir Ciftci returns to the Celtic squad as the former Dundee United forward is currently serving a six-game domestic ban. Coach Ronny Deila will decide whether to include new signing Scott Allan in his squad after he signed a four-year deal last Friday following his move from Hibernian. Kris Commons is available after recovering from a dead leg.

Malmo are two thirds of the way through their league campaign and come into the tie on the back of three successive wins in all competitions. They currently sit in fifth place in the standings having taken 37 points from 20 games. The Swedish side knocked Red Bull Salzburg out in the previous Champions League ualifying round and enter this match full of confidence.

Markus Rosenberg and Jo Inge Berget, who have seven goals each so far this season, will lead the line for Malmo. Under-21 European Champion Lewicki is expected to start in midfield while Ghanaian midfielder Enoch Kofi Adu is suspended for the visitors after getting sent off in their last European outing.
