CHELSEA v BAYERN MUNICH BETTING PREVIEW
Chelsea recorded an easy 3-0 win over rivals Arsenal in their first International Champions Cup outing, courtesy of a goal scored by WIlliam and a Michy Batshuayi's brace. The fact the Antonio Conte fielded a very familiar and well-knit starting XI was a huge plus. The Blues will be keen to build on that victory as in just two weeks they will line up against Arsenal again in the Community Shield at Wembley.This game be the first time Chelsea fans get to see new signing Alvaro Morata as Antonio Conte has indicated that the former Real Madrid forward will play some part in the game. The Blues will be without the services of Pedro for the remainer of their Asia tour after he suffered concussion in the win against Arsenal following a collision with David Ospina. Eden Hazard and new signing Tiemoue Bakayoko are both injured while Diego Costa and Nemanja Matic are not with the club as they will be sold in this transfer market. Antonio Rudiger and Kurt Zouma remain absent though. Michy Batshuayi stepped up to the plate in the absence of Diego Costa and should continue to lead the line.
Bayern Munich started their International Champions Cup campaign by losing on penalties to Arsenal in Shanghai after a 1-1 draw. The Bavarian was completely hammerd by AC Milan in the 2nd ICC game, losing 4-0 against all odds despite the Bundesliga giants fielded a strong squad and enjoyed a fair amount of possession and pressure.
Full-back Juan Bernat has returned to Germany following the heavy defeat to Milan, after suffering ankle ligament damage during the game. Furthermore, Carlo Ancelotti is still without Arturo Vidal, Joshua Kimmich, Sebastian Rudy, and Niklas Sule after their involvement in the Confederations Cup this summer while Manuel Neuer, Arjen Robben and Jerome Boateng are not with the team. New signings Corentin Tolisso and James Rodriguez should retain their starting berth.
