CHELSEA v SWANSEA BETTING PREVIEW

Chelsea has been struggling in their past few matches with three winless performances in their last six outings. Anyway, they still have a 8 points lead at the top of the table as the other contenders behind have also suffered losses in the said period. While they have dropped some points on the road in recent weeks - including last time out at Burnley - they have won nine Premier League home matches in a row, keeping clean sheets in six of these victories too. The Blues back to winning ways by comfortably beating 2-0 Wolves at Molineaux in the FA Cup last weekend.

Antonio Conte has no reason to make wholesale changes to his side. Anyway, Thibault Courtois is doubtful due to an illness an could be replaced by Asmir Begovic. The 3-4-3 system will see Gary Cahill, David Luiz and Cesar Azpilicueta retain their berth as central defender, with Marcos Alonso and Victor Moses as wing backs. Ngolo Kantè and Nemanja Matic will play in the middle of the park while Diego Costa will be flanked by Eden Hazard up front. Pedro and Willian are in contention for the remaining attacking spot as usual.



Swansea have improved significantly under new manager Paul Clement and escaped the relegation zone with an impressive form. They recorded three wins in their last four games - including a shock 3-2 victory over Liverpool at Anfield - and only a late Man City winner stopped Swansea making it three successive away victories. The Welsh team is now 15th in the 20-team league standings, four points above the danger zone. They are coming off a 2-0 blanking of defending champions Leicester City at Liberty Stadium.

Nathan Dyer has been ruled out for the rest of the season and this could mean Luciano Narsingh finally makes his full debut for Swansea. The Dutchman will partner Gylfi Sigurdsson and Fernando Llorente upfront, as Jefferson Montero is injured as well. In midfield, the likes of Tom Carroll, Jack Cork and Leroy Fer are favourites to start since Ki Sung-Yueng and Leon Britton are sidelined. Lukasz Fabianski will defend his goal with a four man backline formed by Kyle Naughton, Federico Fernandez, Alfie Mawson and Martin Olsson.
