COLOMBIA v CHILE BETTING PREVIEW
Colombia collected 17 points from first 10 qualifiers to climb to fourth in the standings. They held Uruguay to a 2-2 draw at home recently and they have picked up 10 points from 5 home matches during this campaign. The Cafeteros have only lost one of their last 11 matches at home in World Cup qualification and have kept seven clean sheets in that time.
Carlos Bacca will probably lead the attack, while Radamel Falcao will lurk for his opportunity from the bench. James Rodriguez missed their last World Cup qualifiers through injury but is back and ready to line up as offensive midfielder, along with Juan Cuadrado and Luis Muriel. Uncapped trio Miguel Borja, Jonathan Copete and Davinson Sanchezw, ill be hoping to be handed international debuts, while Teofilo Gutierrez and Adrian Ramos have been overlooked.
Chile have yet to secure their place at the 2018 World Cup finals as they sit 5th in the group table. They have struggled on the road during qualification so far, suffering defeats at both Ecuador and Paraguay. Of course, altitude has played a huge part in both losses. The main problem for Juan Antonio Pizzi's men so far was awful defending, allowing 16 goals in the opening ten matches. Only Venezuela and Bolivia at the bottom of the table have conceded more goals than them. Chile met Colombia in Copa America this year and claimed a 2-0 victory thanks to the goals of Aranguiz and Fuenzalida.
Captain Gary Medel misses through suspension while Alexis Sanchez has been ruled out of this match after picking up a muscle injury in training. Chances are that one of Nicolas Castillo or Edson Puch will be tasked with replacing the Gunners hotshot, playing alongside Eduardo Vargas up front. Jorge Valdivia, Mauricio Pinilla and Matias Fernandez all miss out through injury.
