BVB could welcome Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang back from the cold after his suspension for "disciplinary reasons" last time out. Anyway, Sokratis Papastathopoulos is almost certain to miss the match having suffered a rib injury. The Greek defender has joined Lukasz Piszczek, Marco Reus, Sebastian Rode and Erik Durm on the sidelines. Up front, Christian Pulisic is a major doubt and could be replaced by Maximilian Philipp in the front trio, alongside Aubameyang and Andrij Yarmolenko. In midfield, Julian Weigl will be the pivot, with Gonzalo Castro and Shinji Kagawa expected to play on his flanks.



Tottenham come into the game off the back of a demoralising 2-0 loss at rivals Arsenal on Saturday, a result that left Spurs in 4th spot and 11 points behind legue leaders Manchester City. In Champions League, the Lilywhites are unbeaten after 4 matches and secured their place in the knockout stage in emphatic fashion with a famous 3-1 win over Real Madrid last time out. A win here will confirm them as the first placed team from Group H before the ball is kicked on matchday six. Anyway, Pochettino's men have won just three of their last 13 European away matches (D4 L6).

Mauricio Pochettino confirmed that Dele Alli and Harry Kane are perfectly fit depsite being subbed off against Arsenal.
