ENGLAND v SLOVENIA BETTING PREVIEW
The Three Lions are sitting pretty at the top of Group F after three straight wins but they struggled past 10 man Estonia 1-0 in their last outing courtesy of Rooney scoring a quality curling free-kick. On the other side, Slovenia sit second with 6 points from their three opening games having been defeated by Estonia in round one but then recorded consecutive wins over Switzerland and Lithuania.
There are a few new names in the England squad but it is unlikely that Hodgson will experiment too much. Saido Berahino also makes up the squad for the first time after impressing with West Brom in recent games but he is unlikely to feature here. Calum Chambers will probably start at right-back while Sterling and Oxlade-Chamberlain will be the super-fast wings. Henderson and Wilshere will play in midfield with Michael Carrick and Stewart Downing giving Hodgson more options.
Slovenia have no fresh injury concerns but the likes of Bojan Jokic, Rene Khrin, Josip Ilicic and Tim Matavz are missing for various reasons. The main striker for the Slovenians is Milivoje Novakovic, who has scored all three goals so far in the group.
England are on a run of 5 clean sheets, a sixth against Slovenia would be a national team record. Three Lions and Slovenia have only ever met twice with the Three Lions winning by one goal on both occasions. There have been under 2.5 goals in two of England's three qualifiers so far and the bad pitch conditions after last week's NFL action could lead to a low scoring affair.
