England face Wales in their second group game of Euro 2016 and this game is almost a qualification decider after Slovakia beat Russia yesterday in Group B. ENGLAND v WALES BETTING PREVIEW
England were denied a win by Russia captain Vasili Berezutski's injury-time equaliser in Marseille. A 1-1 result means England now only have one point in a game they should have won comfortably. Hodgson's men are now desperate to put their major tournament struggles of recent years firmly behind them, and a victory over their fierce rivals would give them plenty of momentum to build on further in the tournament.
The big news is that Jamie Vardy is expected to lead the line alongside Harry Kane, even in Daniel Sturridge provide another option upfront. Raheem Sterling and Adam Lallana look most likely to lose their place. Wayne Rooney is likely yo play as number ten in a 4-3-1-2 formation, with the likes of Dele Alli, Eric Dier and James Milner in midfield.
Wales started their campaign in the best possible way, they have three points on the board after a 2-1 victory over Slovakia, who beat 2-1 Russia in Lille On Wednesday. This is the game the whole nation have been waiting for but they start as the underdogs as the Three Lions have won each of their last four meetings against the Dragons without conceding.
Joe Allen, Joe Ledley and Hal Robson-Kanu all featured against Slovakia and are expected to retain their starting berth. It remains to be seen if Crystal Palace goalkeeper will recover in time for this clash. Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey will be once again the main threats for the opponents while Ben Davies and James Chester will start in defense with captain Ashley Williams.
