EVERTON vs MANCHESTER UTD BETTING PREVIEW
Everton have had a horror start of the season but they have picked up their form under new manager Sam Allardyce, enjoying a 8 match unbeaten run before to suffer a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Bournemouth last Saturday. They have held Liverpool (1-1) and Chelsea (0-0) in the proces and climbed the table up to the 7th position. The Toffees have not beaten Manchester United in their last six league and cup meetings. Man UTD have failed to reduce the gap over Manchester City having recorded a goalless draw at home against Southampton on Saturday. They have now failed to win four matches in a row in all competitions in a winless run that also include a 2-1 loss to Bristol City in EFL Cup, and 2-2 draws against Leicester and Burnley. The Red Devils are now third in the Premier League table, one point behind Chelsea. They have earned four wins in their last seven head to head against Everton, including a 4-0 home win in September.
Romelu Lukaku will miss his Everton return after suffering a nasty head injury against the Saints and will be replaced by Marcus Rashford, given that also Zlatan Ibrahimovic is sidelined. Josè Mourinho is likely to revert to a 4-3-3 system, placing Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard out wide. Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo and Ander Herrera will look to benefit from any rotation Mourinho applies. The likes of Michael Carrick, Chris Smalling, Antonio Valencia, Marouane Fellaini and Eric Bailly remain in the treatment room.
