FEYENOORD v MANCHESTER CITY BETTING PREVIEW 

Feyenoord have enjoyed a perfect start to the season as Giovanni Van Bronckhorst's men have won each of their opening four league matches, scoring 12 goals in the process. They only dropped four points at home last season in domestic football, scoring 56 goals and conceding just 11. The Dutch team have a poor record in this competition, having lost each of their last seven Champions League ties. Anyway, they beat Manchester UTD 1-0 here in the Europa League last season before to fail to make it through that Europa League group, going down 4-0 at Old Trafford and losing 1-0 twice to Fenerbahce.

Feyenoord sold defenders Terence Kongolo and Rick Karsdorp to Monaco and Roma respectively in the summer, while captain Dirk Kuyt retired after scoring a title-clinching hat-trick. Nicolai Jørgensen will miss out after only lasting 22 minutes at the weekend and will be replaced by Michiel Kramer as central striker with Jean Paul Boetius and Steven Berghuis on his flanks. Tonny Vilhena, Jens Toornstra and Karim El Ahmadi are expected to start in midfield.



Manchester City enter this clash on the back of their biggest win of the season so far, a 5-0 thrashing of Liverpool at Etihad Stadium last weekend. Prior to that, the Citizens have not been been particularly convincing in the Premier League, recording narrow wins over Brighton and Bournemouth, plus a 1-1 home draw against Everton. Guardiola's men failed to win a single away game in the Champions League last season and failed to advance to the quarter finals becasuse of a 6-6 away goals defeat to Monaco in the Last 16.

With first-choice goalkeeper Ederson out injured, Claudio Bravo will start between the sticks. Meanwhile, Vincent Kompany remains unavailable but Raheem Sterling comes back into contention after a one match ban in Premier League. Pep Guardiola may shuffle his pack to rotate his attackers and this could lead to a change in formation. Leroy Sanè should feature from the off after scoring a brace in few minutes against Liverpool while Gabriel Jesus is favourite over Sergio Aguero for the lone striker berth of the 4-1-4-1 system.
