FRANCE v ICELAND BETTING PREVIEW

France won Group A with seven points, courtesy of two hard-fought victories over Romania (2-1) and Albania (2-0) and a goalless draw against Switzerland. In the last 16, they came from a goal down to see off the Republic of Ireland with a brace scored by Antoine Griezmann. Les Blues have not impressed so far but they have yet to suffer a loss and allowed only two goals in four games.

Samuel Umtiti has reportedly been given the nod to start over Eliaquim Mangala with Adil Rami suspended. Leicester City midfieldere N'Golo Kante is also suspended and is likely to be replaced by Yohan Cabaye or Moussa Sissoko. Blaise Matuidi and Olivier Giroud are under fire after poor performaces in recent times, but both are expected to retain their berth in the starting line-up.

Iceland are surprisingly unbeaten in their four games in France so far. They held Portugal to a 1-1 draw in their opening group game, leading to a Cristiano Ronaldo tantrum, and then booked a spot in the knockout phase by following up a 1-1 draw against Hungary with a 2-1 victory against an Austria. In the last-16 round, the Icelanders shocked England by handing a first class exit from the European Championship in a 2-1 defeat on Monday night.

Head coaches Lars Lagerback and Heimir Hallgrimsson are likely to field an unchanged starting line-up as they have no injury problems or suspensions. This means that Sigthorsson and Bodvarsson will lead the line while the likes of Gudmundsson, Gunnarsson, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Bjarnason will start in midfield.
