FRANCE v SCOTLAND BETTING PREVIEW
France come into this fixture off the back of a 3-2 victory against Cameroon on Monday night, with the visitors twice equalising before Dimitri Payet settled the match with a stunning last-minute free-kick. They are on a 3 game winning streak, and have won 8 of their last 9 games, losing only to England and beating the likes of the Netherlands, Russia and world champions Germany.
Antoine Griezmann is available for Deschamps and Anthony Martial is fully recovered. N'Golo Kante, Yohan Cabaye, Moussa Sissoko and Morgan Schneiderlin are in contention to earn a starting midfield spot with Diarra now out. Dimitri Payet is expected to keep his place in the starting XI. Adil Rami and Samuel Umtiti makes the Squad for the Euro as they replaced injured Varane and Jeremy Mathieu.
Despite failing to qualify for the Euros, Scotland have undoubtedly improved under the leadership of Gordon Strachan. The Tartan Army have lost 1-0 their last friendly against Italy in Malta, courtesy of a goal scored by Southampton's striker Graziano Pelle. They have kept clean sheets in 3 of their last 5 games.
Gordon Strachan is without Christophe Berra and Barry Bannan while Shaun Maloney, Robert Snodgrass and Andrew Robertson will join the squad after missing last time out due to Championship play-off involvement. Other omissions include Rangers defender Lee Wallace, Derby's Chris Martin and Aston Villa right-back Alan Hutton while goalkeepers Allan McGregor and Scott Bain are both missing with back injuries.
These two nations have met 15 times, with Scotland surprisingly winning eight and losing seven times. Furthremore, the Scots have won their last two matches against Les Blues, each by a 1-0 scoreline.
