FRANCE v GERMANY BETTING PREVIEW
France enter this match having won each of their last four matches against Portugal, Serbia, Armenia and Denmark although earlier in the year they were beaten at home by both Brazil (3-1) and Belgium (4-3). Les Blues, who are automatically qualified for the Euro 2016 as hosting nation, will be looking to be a scalping under his belt ahead of the tournament next summer where both teams will be considered among the favourites.Mahmadou Sakho is out through injury while Mathieu Valbuena and Karim Benzema's absences up front open up the chance for Anthony Martial or Olivier Giroud to lead the line. Hatem Ben Arfa could also cap a sensational return to the national set-up with a start on the right flank. Deschamps has also given a nod to rising Bayern Munich forward Kingsley Coman.
Germany were far from convincing in narrowly topping their Euro 2016 qualification group, recording away defeats to the Republic of Ireland and rivals Poland while drawing at home against the Irish. Joachim Low’s side were also beaten at home by the USA in a friendly this year and held 2-2 against Australia. Die Mannschaft have a surprisingly poor record in friendly matches, having won just two of their last seven non-competitive outings
Thomas Muller will lead the line and look to link up with the likes of Mario Gotze, Andre Schurrle and Julian Draxler. Toni Kroos, Mesut Ozil and Marco Reus are among those to be rested by manager Joachim Low. PSG goalkeeper Kevin Trapp and 19-year-old striker Leroy Sane could be in line for their debuts.
The sides last met in a decisive clash at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, where Germany knocked France out at the quarter-final stage with a 1-0 win.
