GERMANY U21 v DENMARK U21 BETTING PREVIEW
Germany won their opening game 2-0 against Czech Republic, as goals from Max Meyer and Serge Gnabry handed Stefan Kuntz's side all three points. That result means they have won 17 of their last 19 matches and six in a row. Plus, the German team confirmed their attacking talent, after they recorded a competition-high 35 goals scored in qualifying. These two teams last metback in 2015 it was for a friendly match hosted by the Germans. On that day Germany ran out 2-1 winners, but in truth the margin could have been greater.Serge Gnabry, who has enjoyed a phenomenal season for Werder Bremen, will start in the offensive midfield trio behind the lone forward Davie Selke, alongside Max Meyer and Mitchell Weiser. In midfield, Maximilian Arnold and the highly-rated Mahmoud Dahoud will be the playmakers. Julian Pollersbeck will play between the posts while the likes of Yannick Gerhardt, Marc Oliver Kempf, Niklas Stark and Jeremy Toljan will form the four man backline.
Denmark were comfortably beaten 2-0 by Italy U21 in their first match and they need to collect points to stay in the hunt. They are without victory in their last three after a defeat to England and draw with Italy last November. Prior to that, the Danes enjoyed an incredible 2015 and 2016 as they went twelve games unbeaten, winning ten and beating the likes of Wales, Romania and Ukraine along the way.
Kenneth Zohore might be given the change to start as the Danes were very poor in attack against Italy. He should be partnered by Lucas Andersen, while the likes of Andrew Hjulsager and Frederik Borsting are likely to start as wingers. Christian Norgaard and Lasse Vigen Christensen are expected to play in the middle of the park, while Frederik Holst, Patrick Bangaard, Andreas Maxso and Jacob Rasmussen are the likely starting defenders.
