INTER MILAN vs AC MILAN BETTING PREVIEW 

Inter Milan have won six and drawn one of their opening seven fixtures and currently sit 2nd in the Serie A standings, level on points with Juventus and 2 points shy of league leaders Napoli. This will be the 2nd real test of the season, after a good 3-1 away win against Roma on gameweek 2. The Nerazzurri have secured a narrow 2-1 win at rock bottom Benevento before the international break, risking to concede the equalizer several times. They boast the best defensive record of the league with only 3 goals conceded so far. Inter are undefeated in their last 6 home matches against AC Milan in all competitions.

Luciano Spalletti is expected to stick with his 4-2-3-1 formation in which Mario Icardi will retain his starting berth up front. After a good performance last time out, Marcelo Brozovic has suffered an injury on international duty with Croatia and will be replaced by Joao Mario in the number ten position. The Portuguese will have Ivan Perisic and Antonio Candreva on his flanks. Matias Vecino is favourite over Roberto Gagliardini to partner Borja Valero in the middle of the park. Yuto Nagatomo and Dalbert are in contention for a starting place at left back. Danilo D'Ambrosio, Joao Miranda and Milan Skriniar will complete the four man backline.



AC Milan are currently 7th in the standings and desperately need a victory here in order to get back in the race for a top 4 finish. The Rossoneri have suffered back to back defeats at the hands of Sampdoria (2-0 away) and Roma (0-2 at home). Leonardo Bonucci is not having the desired impact in defense as the 'Devils' have already conceded 10 goals in 7 games, the same amount of goals they have scored so far despite the impressive investments on the transfer market. Both of last season's derbies ended 2-2 and another high-scoring clash is on the cards.

Vincenzo Montella is likely to change again his starting system, reverting to a more defensive 3-5-1-1. Up front, since Nikola Kalinic is sidelined, Andrè Silva should get the nod over Patrick Cutrone and lead the line, with Suso tucked behind him. Ricardo Rodriguez and Fabio Borini will start as wing backs, while Giacomo Bonaventura, Lucas Biglia and Franck Kessiè will form the central midfield line. The three man defense will be formed by Leandro Romagnoli, Leonardo Bonucci and Mateo Musacchio. Hakan Calhanoglu misses through suspension, Luca Antonelli and Andrea Conti are out through injury.
