Juve come into this clash on the back of five wins in a row in Serie A games

Juventus returned to the winning ways last weekend after a meaningless 2-1 Champions League loss at Young Boys. The Bianconeri have narrowly beaten city rivals Torino (0-1), courtesy of a penalty kick converted by Cristiano Ronaldo. That victory means that the Old Lady have only dropped 2 points in Serie A after 16 matches. Second-placed Napoli are a huge 8 points below them. Massimiliano Allegri's men also possess the best defensive record with only 8 goals conceded so far joint-best attacking record in the division with 33 goals scored in 16 fixtures.

Massimiliano Allegri will keep faith in his 4-3-3 starting system. Former Roma goalkeeper will return between the posts, while Mehdi Benatia and Leonardo Bonucci are in contention to partner Giorgio Chiellini as centre back. With Joao Cancelo and Andrea Barzagli still out through injury, Alex Sandro and Mattia De Sciglio will start as full backs. Rodrigo Betancur will join Blaise Matuidi and Miralem Pjanic in the middle of the park, likely getting the nod over Emre Can and Sami Khedira. Up front, Allegri will play with a "heavy tridente" as Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic will flank current Serie A top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo.

Roma have failed to score in six of the last eight encounters in Turin

Roma currently sit 6th in the Serie A table, level on points with Sassuolo and Atalanta and a massive 22 points adrift of the leaders. They enter this match on the back of a 3-2 victory over Genoa last weekend but the Giallorossi have won just twice in their last eight league games. Defense is Eusebio Di Francesco's main concern as his men have failed to kept a clean sheet in the last 10 outings and conceded two goals in each of their last 5 games. The Italian manager remains under pressure to save his job despite the Giallorossi have progressed to the Champions League knockout stage.

Edin Dzeko could be ready to make his return at the weekend but hte Bosnian striker is likely to be initially benched. Hence, Patrick Schick will lead the line with Alessandro Florenzi, Justin Kluivert and Nicolò Zaniolo forming the offensive midfield trio. The likes of Cengiz Under and Diego Perotti provide viable alternatives. The likes of Steven N'Zonzi and Bryan Cristante will anchor the midfield, since Daniele De Rossi and Lorenzo Pellegrini have joined Stephan El Shaarawy in the treatment room. No changes are expected in defense where Davide Santon will join Aleksandr Kolarov, Kostas Manolas and Federico Fazio.
