MANCHESTER CITY v SEVILLA BETTING PREVIEW

Man City are flying again having recorded a 6-1 win against Newcastle before the international break and 5-1 over Bournemouth on Saturday. As to the Champions League, after opening the campaign with a home defeat to Juventus, Manchester City came home from Germany victorious as a goal from Martin Demichelis and a Sergio Aguero penalty earned a 2-1 success over Borussia Moenchengladbach.

Manuel Pellegrini should recall Vincent Kompany to the starting fold. Bacary Sagna could also continue at left-back with Aleksandar Kolarov still doubtful. Sergio Aguero, Fabian Delph and David Silva are all sidelined while Samir Nasri picked up a hamstring injury last time out and will miss the game. Wilfried Bony will lead the line with Jesus Navas, Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne supporting him.

Sevilla were held to a 1-1 draw at Eibar at the weekend. Although they have claimed two wins from their last three in the league, Sevilla are still in the bottom-half of the La Liga table after a disappointing start to their domestic campaign. In Champions League, the Andalusians began well with a 3-0 home win over Borussia Monchengladbach before going down 2-0 away to Juventus in Turin.

Los Rojiblancos may set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation. They will assess striker Fernando Llorente and midfielder Luismi before the match but we expect Gameiro to start upfront. Gael Kakuta and Sergio Escudero are both ruled out with muscular injuries. Daniel Carrico is also sidelined with a hamstring problem. Vitolo and Reyes will start as wide midfielders.

The Citizens have been disappointing in the Champions League though, with only three wins from their last 12 home games. Manchester City have lost five of their last six Champions League games against Spanish opposition (D1).
