MOTHERWELL v RANGERS BETTING PREVIEW
After losing 15 of their 19 away games in the SPL this season, Motherwell were able to produce their best performance of the season, beating Rangers 3-1 at Ibrox few days ago. ee Erwin gave Motherwell an early lead, despite Rangers making the better start and the game was seized by the visitors either side of the break. Stephan McManus made it 2-0 four minutes before half-time, with Lionel Ainsworth adding a third 47 minutes into the game.
Manager Baraclough has little reason to change to his team. Lee Erwin looks set to feature for Motherwell, whilst top scorer John Sutton could miss out.
The 1st leg quickly turned into a nightmare for Glasgow Rangers after they fell 3-0 down after 47 minutes and the Gers have now a mountain to climb. Anyway, Darren McGregor’s late consolation at Ibrox give little hope to Stuart McCall's men.
Rangers will be without defender Darren McGregor, who scored their goal in Thursday’s game at Ibrox. Club captain Lee McCulloch, a former Motherwell player, could come back into the starting XI in McGregor’s place. Shane Ferguson made a positive impression last time out and could be involved again. Striker Kris Boyd could be preferred in attack. Sebastien Faure and Gael Bigirimana are out through injury.
Rangers were undefeated in 39 league and cup matches against Motherwell (W30 D9) before Thursday's match.
