Napoli have taken points on four of Juve’s last five visits to Naples

Napoli are currently trailing Juventus by 13 points and only a victory here could keep alive their Scudetto hopes. The Partenopei are unbeaten at home in the last 18 games at the Stadio San Paolo and enter this clash on the back of an impressive 4-0 away win at Parma. Prior to that, Carlo Ancelotti's men were held 0-0 at home by Torino, their third scoreless draw in the last four Serie A outings. The direct encounter earlier this season saw Napoli suffering a 3-1 defeat at the Juventus Stadium, despite they found an early goal by Dries Mertens.

Carlo Ancelotti has to decide whether to five a starting berth to Arkadiusz Milik or Dries Mertens up front, while Lorenzo Insigne looks sure to spearhead the attack. The likes of Faouzi Ghoulam and Elseid Hysaj are also in contention for the left-back spot while Kevin Malcuit is likely to play on the other side. Nikola Maksimovic should partner Kalidou Koulibaly at the heart of the back while Allan and Fabian Ruiz are expected to anchor the midfield. Armin Younes and Raul Albiol, who have an Achilles and knee injury respectively, are the only players unavailable through injury for the hosts.

The Bianconeri are not in their best period of form as they have lost 2-0 against Atletico Madrid in Champions League and followed that loss with a narrow 1-0 win at Bologna last weekend. The Old Lady will be more than happy with a draw here as they have a 13 points cushion over their opponents. They will rely upon their rock solid defense, having conceded only 15 goals in 28 matches so far and kept 10 clean sheets in the last 14 outings.

Encouragin news for Massimiliano Allegri. Cristiano Ronaldo looks 100% fit having recovered from an ankle problem this week. The Portuguese is expected to lead a heavy 'tridente' with Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic, given that Douglas Costa and Juan Cuadrado are out through injury. Sami Khedira is also sidelined, so the likes of Rodrigo Betancur, Miralem Pjanic and Blaise Matuidi are expected to play in the middle of the park. No changes are expected in defense where Joao Cancelo and Alex Sandro will be the starting full backs, Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini the centre backs as usual.
