Real Madrid have won only one of their latest nine European matches (D4 L4)

Viktor Kovalenko has returned to fitness in recent weeks and provide a further offensive option, as well as Brazilian forward Dentinho. The likes of Maksym Malyshev, Oleksandr Pikhalionk, Maycon and Andrii Totovytskyi are all ruled out through injury. Coach Luis Castro is likewise without the services of defender Davit Khocholava, who has a shoulder problem.

City's record on the road in Champions League knockout matches is far from impressive

Manchester City have won two in a row against West Ham (2-0) and Leicester (0-1 at the King Power Stadium). Bernardo Silva could replace the England international up front, while Riyad Mahrez and Sergio Aguero look sure to feature from the off. Leroy Sane has been closing in on a return to first-team action, but this match is expected to come too soon for his comeback. Fernandinho is expected to play as centre back alongside one between Aymeric Laporte and Nicolas Otamendi. Kyle Walker and Benjamin Mendy are favorites to start as full backs.
