ROMA v PSG BETTING PREVIEW
Roma come into the match on the back of a convincing 0-8 win over Pinzolo in their first outing of the season so far. In the second one, the Giallorossi recorded a 1-0 win against much stronger team Slovacko from Czech Republic. New manager Eusebio Di Francesco is hoping to sign some top player as they have lost the likes of Mohamed Salah, Antonio Rudiger, and Leandro Paredes this summer.Only Rick Karsdorp and Emerson Palmieri are missing from the squad due to injuries, meaning that brand new Turkish midfield signing Cengiz Under available for selection as well as other new signings Maxime Gonalons and Hector Moreno. In goal, Alisson is likely to feature from the off as Wojciech Szczesny is moving to Juventus while the youngster Marco Tumminello is expected to start upfront alongside Edin Dzeko and Diego Perotti.
PSG has played only once since finishing their 2016/17 campaign in late May, when they beat Angers SCO 1-0 in the Coupe De France final at Stade de France. In their lone outing they edged a 1-1 stalemate against the neighbors Paris FC. After this game they will face Tottenham at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on July 22 and then they will finish against Juventus at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami at the end of the month.
The team led by Unai Emery is strengthened for former Barcelona and Juventus right back Dani Alves. Serge Aurier, Hatem Ben Arfa, and Grzegorz Krychowiak have been left out of the squad, with all three players linked with a move away from the club. Anyway, big guns such as Marco Verratti, Edinson Cavani, and Angel Di Maria are all included though, as are newly signed full backs Dani Alves and Yuri Berchiche. Julian Draxler is yet to join the squad with an extended holiday after firing Germany to Confederation Cup victory. One notable addition is the Spanish striker Jese, who spend the second half of last season on loan at Las Palmas.
