SCOTLAND v LITHUANIA BETTING PREVIEW
Scotland kick started their 2018 World Cup Qualifying campaign with a 5-1 win over minnows Malta. The pressure is on the Scots once again on Saturday night, because this game against Lithuania already ranks as a must-win outing for Strachan’s boys.Aston Villa full-back Alan Hutton has pulled out of the squad through injury and will be probably replaced by Callum Paterson. Ross McCormack misses out on the squad altogether after a poor start to the season while Debutant Oliver Burke made a good first impression last time out and could start here. Chris Martin looks to be favourite to start in the lone striker role while 19-year-old Celtic star Keiran Tierney could win a second cap.
Lithuania enter this match the as underdogs but they recorded a 2-2 draw against Slovenia last time out, a result that will give them confidence that points are possible against the Tartan Army. Lithuania have a few absentees through injuries including striker Lukas Spalvis, Tomas Radzinevicius and midfielder Dovydas Norvilas. Fedor Cernych and Vykintas Slivka are both expected to be in the team again for this game, with Cernych also the captain of the team. Matulevicius is likely to start as lone striker in a 4-5-1 formation.
