SCOTLAND v ENGLAND BETTING PREVIEW

Scotland beat Ireland 1-0 in Glasgow in a Euro 2016 qualifier on Friday. That win took them level with Germany and Republic of Ireland on seven points with Poland currently leading the group with ten points from a maximum of twelve.

Strachan will definitely be without striker Steven Fletcher, so Derby striker Chris Martin will lead the attack. Craig Gordon could start for his country for the first time in four years while Rangers' midfielder Lewis Macleod is likely to make his debut. Craig Bryson and James Morrison could both return to the starting line-up after missing the clash against Ireland due to injury and illness respectively.

England beat Slovenia 3-1 in their qualifier at Wembley on Saturday. The Three Lions have won all four of their EURO 2016 qualifying matches - including visits to Switzerland (2-0) and Estonia (1-0) - and sit comfortably top of the group. Anyway, last Saturday England was very disappointing in the first half. They failed to muster a single effort on target and only sprang into action after their visitors took a surprise lead.

Roy Hodgson is expected to field a strong starting XI, which should include the likes of Gary Cahill, Raheem Sterling, Jordan Henderson and Danny Welbeck. Hodgson could hand West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino his first cap Ross Barkley, Calum Chambers and Luke Shaw could also feature while Ben Foster or Fraser Forster will play as goalkeeper.

England have won three of the last four games against Scotland, with the last victory coming in a friendly match at Wembley last year when the Three Lions came from behind to win 3-2. The goal England conceded to Slovenia has been their only one shipped in their last six. Scotland are in good form too, having lost just one of their last 10 internationals.
