Senegal v Colombia betting preview   

Senegal certainly boast some talent that could cause problems for the Colombians

Senegal started their campaign with an impressive 2-1 win over Poland and followed up with a 2-2 draw agaisnst Japan in their last fixxture. The African side have been frustrated by that stalemate with Samurai Blue because they twice surrendered the lead in that one and they could have booked their place in the last 16 on Sunday. They sit joint-top of the group with four points, but face arguably their toughest opponent to round off the group. A draw here would be enough to see them through here. Their back line need to fix some issues. They seem to be forgetting how defense works while putting most of their focus on offense.

Mame Biram Diouf is once again expected to start on bench, as Mbaye Niang should retain his offensive berth. The likes of Ismaila Sarr and Sadio Manè will start out wide, while Gana Gaye, Alfred N'Diaye and Badou Ndiaye are likely to play in the middle of the park. Moussa Sow and Cheickh Kouyatè provide further options up front and in midfield. No changes are expected in defense, where Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly will guide the backline with Salif Sanè, Moussa Waguè and Youssouf Sabaly.

Colombia still have some work to do in order to advance to the knockout stage

Colombia back on track after their surprise 1-2 defeat to Japan in their opening match in Russia. The Cafeteros managed to win 3-0 over Poland last time out, as Yerry Mina, Radamel Falcao and Juan Cuadrado went on the scoresheet. As a result, Josè Pekerman's men are just a point behind Senegal and Japana. Hence, a draw could not be enough to progress to the last-16 if Japan manage to win or draw against Poland in the other group match. Anyway, Los Cafeteros have the weapons to exploit Senegal’s seemingly leaky defense.

Head coach Josè Pekerman has two injury concerns with goalkeeper David Ospina and defensive midfielder Abel Aguilar both facing a race against time to be fit for the clash. Sanchez will be back after suspension here and we can expect him to start in the middle of the park, joining Wilmar Barrios who is again expected to start instead of Jose Izqueirdo. The likes of James Rodriguez, Juan Cuadrado and Juan Quintero are expected to combine behind the lone striker Radamel Falcao.
