SPAIN v CZECH REPUBLIC BETTING PREVIEW
Spain, who won the last two European Championships editions, are looking to make it a hat-trick of trophies. They were quick to pour cold water over their shock 1-0 defeat to Georgia last week. It was the first in 12 games and prior to that they had a comfortable run against South Korea and Bosnia. The Red Fury have not conceded above 1 goal in each of their last 5 games showing they have a very solid defence.Head coach Del Bosque decided to omit the likes of Diego Costa, Juan Mata and Santi Cazorla from his squad. Dani Carvajal has been withdrawn from the squad due to a hamstring injury and Juanfran is expected to replace him. Alvaro Morata is a doubt with a hamstring complaint but is expected to be fit to start for Spain and sparhead the attack alongside Nolito and David Silva. The likes of Sergio Busquets, Koke and Andres Iniesta will play in the middle of the park.
Czech Republic qualified as group winners, with a record of seven wins, one draw and two defeats to finish two points clear of Iceland and four ahead of Turkey. They looked solid in their 2-1 win over Russia but almost immediately against South Korea, they struggled to assert themselves. They also suffered a defeat at the hands of Scotland and drew against Sweden in recent times.
Borek Dockal is the only injury concern for Czech Republic after he picked up an injury last time out. Arsenal's midfielder Tomas Rosicki is expected to be benched while legendary goalkeeper Petr Cech will start in goal. Tomas Necid is likely to lead the line in a 4-2-3-1 formation, while Jaroslav Plasil and Vladimir Darida will be the playmaker in midfield.
