RUSSIA v WALES BETTING PREVIEW

Russia are staring down the elimination barrel, bottom of this quartet with just one point. They were very fortunate to snatch a last minute point against England in their opening match after being outplayed for the 90 minutes. In the second game, the Russians produced a poor performance in their last outing losing 2-1 against Slovakia. Leonid Slutsky's men have to win to have any chance of being in the draw for the knockout phase.

Igor Denisov is the only players missing for the Russian team. Denis Glushakov came off the bench to score against Slovakia last time out and could replace Roman Neustadter or Aleksandr Golovin in midfield. Back-up goalkeeper Yuri Lodygin and winger Oleg Shatov are doubts. Artem Dzyuba is expected to start upfront despite two poor performances so far.

Wales recorded a vital 2-1 victory over Slovakia in their first match in France. In their second game against England they took the lead late in the first half from a long-range Gareth Bale free-kick but were beaten 2-1 courtesy of a late goal scored by Daniel Sturridge and were unlucky not to come out with a point. Three points here would move them onto seven points and would definitely send them through. Whether they finish 1st or 2nd is determined by England’s result against Slovakia.

Joe Ledley is expected to be the only change with Dave Edwards possibly coming in for him. Other than that, boss Chris Coleman has no reason to make changes to his formation and he is likely to stick with the same eleven that started in their second group game. Once again, Hal Robson-Kanu will lead the line with Gareth Bale playing behind him.
