WALES v SLOVAKIA BETTING PREVIEW
Wales finished their qualification group narrowly behind Belgium with 21 points and just one defeat in 10 qualifying matches and need to be taken very seriously. Their warm-up friendlies were a bit disappointing as Bale & co. lost 3-2 to the Netherlands, drew 1-1 with Northern Ireland, were then beaten 1-0 by Ukraine and lost 3-0 against Sweden. Gareth Bale, who scored 7 of his team's 11 goals during qualification, was absent in all three of those outings.Joe Ledley, Joe Allen and Hal Robson-Kanu are fitness concerns for Chris Coleman. There are also slight concerns on the fitness of Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen, but the Wales manager has hinted he will start. Gareth Bale will play just behind the lone striker Sam Vokes in a 3-5-1-1 formation. Aaron Ramsey will regularly start in midfield as well as captain Ashley Williams in defense. Neil Taylor and Chris Gunter are favorites to play as left and rigt back.
Slovakia finished second behind Spain in Group C, earning 22 points and even securing a 2-1 win over the reigning European champions in the process. They also beat Ukraine along the way to automatic qualification. After sealing their place at these finals Slovakia have been busy, fulfilling all of seven friendly internationals and they are unbeaten with four wins and three draws. They beat sides of the calibre of Switzerland, Iceland and Germany in warming up although since then they have played out a 0-0 draw with Northern Ireland.
Jan Kozak will setup his Slovakia team in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Marek Hamsik, Wladimir Weiss and Robert Mak supporting Adam Nemec up front. Juraj Kucka and Victor Pekovsky are likely to play in the middle of the park. Tomas Hubocan and Norbert Gyomber are struggling with injuries and neither are expected to feature here.
