The Hornets are without Andre Gray, Will Hughes, and Adalberto Penaranda while Daryl Janmaat and Sebastian Prodl are major doubts. Tom Cleverley is back in contention for a starting role, but Etienne Capoue and Domingos Quina looks favourite to partner Abdoulaye Doucourè in the middle of the park. A strong display from Troy Deeney and Gerard Deulofeu last time could see them hold onto their places in the team but Isaac Success and Stefano Okaka are potential alternatives up front. The likes of Kiko Femenia and Jose Holebas should start as full backs, altough Adam Masina is pushing for a start. Adrian Mariappa could replace one between Christian Kabasele and Craig Cathcart as centre-back.
Eden Hazard has been deployed as a false nine in Chelsea's last three league matches but he is expected to play in a more familiar role, with Alvaro Morata or Olivier Giroud starting as central striker. Ruben Loftus-Cheek or Ross Barkley may replace Mateo Kovacic in central midfield, while Cesc Fabregas is the obvious understudy for Jorginho if the Italian is deemed in need of a breather. No changes are expected in defense where Andreas Christensen is still sidelined, meaning that Antonio Rudiger and David Luiz will form the central pair once again. Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso also look likely to start, though Emerson Palmieri and Davide Zappacosta offer fresh legs if Sarri decides to rotate his full-backs.

Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Kepa; Azpilicueta, Rudiger, David Luiz, M.Alonso; Kantè, Loftus-Cheek, Jorginho; Willian, Hazard, Giroud

Watford v Chelsea betting preview
Watford are looking to make it three wins in a row for the first time since the start of the season
Watford recently beat West Ham 2-0 at the London Stadium, following on from their 3-2 win over Cardiff the weekend before. Those back to back wins came after a bleak 6 match winless streak in the top-flight. As a result, the Hornets currently sit 7th in the Premier League table, just two points behind 6th placed Manchester United. The defence remains an issue with just four league shutouts being achieved all season. As to direct matches, the Hornets ended a 13 match winless streak against Chelsea in this corresponding fixture last year. Chelsea have lost three of their last six Premier League games
Chelsea were beaten at Stamford Bridge for the first time in eight months last weekend, as they suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat at home to Leicester City. The Blues were superb in registering a 2-0 win over Manchester City at the start of December but now they are now 11 points adrift of top spot and only in the top four on goal difference. Other recent defeats came at the hands of Tottenham (3-1) and Wolves (2-1). Furthermore, Chelsea certainly don't have happy memories of this fixtures from last year after they were defeated 4-1 following three Watford goals in the last six minutes.Eden Hazard has been deployed as a false nine in Chelsea's last three league matches but he is expected to play in a more familiar role, with Alvaro Morata or Olivier Giroud starting as central striker.
