WEST HAM v MANCHESTER UNITED BETTING PREVIEW

West Ham have secured their Premier League status for another season following Saturday's 2-0 win away to Leicester, their sole victory in the last five matches in the Premier League. Prior to that, they suffered two heavy defeats against Arsenal (4-1 at Emirates) and Man City (1-4 at home). The club remain firmly in the bottom half of the table and although relegation is no longer a worry, the supporters will not be too happy with their current league position of 15th. The Hammers have only lost two of their last eight Premier League home matches but they have failed to beat Man UTD in 16 of their last 17 direct encounters.

David Moyes is expected to stick with the side that beat Leicester at the weekend. Marko Arnautovic is expected to be available for this game after picking up a minor knock last time out. Joao Mario and Manuel Lanzini are expected to start as offensive midfielders behind the Austrian. Patrice Evra provides a possible alternative to Arthur Masuaku at left wing-back in the 3-4-2-1 formation. Joe Hart and Chicharito Hernandez are both doubtful. Winston Reid, Sam Byram and Michail Antonio are long-term absentees while James Collins lacks match fitness.

Man UTD went down 1-0 away to Brighton on Friday, their second defeat in four league fixtures. The Red Devils will have to settle for second place in the league at best - they need just one point from the remaining two games - but could still pick up the FA Cup if they can beat Mourinho's former club Chelsea later this month. As to direct encounter, the Red Devils faced the Hammers on the opening weekend of the Premier League season back in August and United ran out 4-0 winners at Old Trafford. The Hammers were still managed by Slaven Bilic. Anyway Mourinho is unbeaten in 10 Premier League matches against sides managed by David Moyes.

The Portuguese manager may revert to a more familiar starting XI. The United boss has also revealed Marouane Fellaini will miss out through injury. Alexis Sanchez is available after missing last time out, but Romelu Lukaku will miss the final two matches of the season. Jesse Lingard only featured as a substitute against Brighton, so he should also earn a recall. That would leave Marcus Rashford, Juan Mata and Anthony Martial battling for one spot, with the former likely to be favoured. Ander Herrera is expected to return in central midfield, getting the nod ahead of Scott McTominay. Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic are expected to retain their starting berth. The likes of Antonio Valencia, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof and Ashley Young are likely to form the four man backline.
