Bosnia Herzegovina finished third, behind Belgium and Wales, in Group B after a run of four wins in their last five games. They have only tasted defeat once in their last eight home games played in all competitions. Bosnia have never actually made it into a European finals before, but they did make history two summers ago when they featured in the World Cup in Brazil.

Bosnia are without Muhamed Besic who is suspended and injured, but otherwise Bazdarevic has a fresh compliment to choose from. The manager has included just one change of name to his squad for the fixtures, which has seen the youngster Rade Krunic come into the fray.



Ireland’s quest to qualify for next summer’s European Championship was out of their hands following a defeat in Scotland and a draw with Gordon Strachan’s men on home soil. They took full advantage as the followed up wins over Gibraltar and Georgia with a shock 1-0 victory against world champions Germany but then they suffered a defeat in their final game against Poland.

Manager Martin O'Neill will be without Shane Long as the forward is ruled out with an ankle injury. John O'Shea is suspended and David Meyler is out with a knee injury. Goalkeeper Rob Elliot is also doubtful.  

These two teams have only faced each other once before, and Ireland recorded a 1-0 win courtesy of Long's finish in a friendly in Dublin during 2012.
