CHELSEA v MIDDLESBROUGH BETTING PREVIEW
Chelsea are four points clear of Tottenham with a game in hand meaning that Antonio Conte's men can actually lift the trophy before the Lilywhites next step onto a football pitch. Middlesbrough secured an unlikely point against Manchester City last time out following their win against relegated Sunderland - their only victory in the last 11 matches in the Premier League. They are 19th in the league standings, six points adrift of safety. Dropping points against Chelsea on Monday will sent them back to the Championship. They have failed to win their last 16 away matches in Premier League, failing to score in 6 of the last 7. Boro have scored just 10 goals away from home in the English top flight.
Interim head coach Steve Agnew seems unlikely to make many changes for the trip to Stamfrod Bridge. Cristhian Stuani and Stewart Downing could again flank central striker Alvaro Negredo in attack, with Rudy Gestede and Adama Traore provide the main alternatives. At the back, Fabio, Calum Chambers, Ben Gibson and George Friend are all expected to keep their starting berths while Marten De Roon, Adam Clayton and Adam Forshaw are likely to start in the middle of the park. Daniel Ayala, Victor Valdes and Grant Leadbitter all remain doubts.
