BORUSSIA DORTMUND vs REAL MADRID BETTING PREVIEW 

Borussia Dortmund have had an unbelievable start under new manager Peter Bosz having won 5 of 6 Bundesliga games so far. BVB top the league standings and are coming off a terrific 6-1 thrashing of Borussia Monchengladbach, meaning they have outscored their opponents 14-1 in the last three outings. Their only slip-up to date came in their first Champions League group match against Tottenham, where they were beaten 3-1 in London.

Raphael Guerreiro and Andre Schurrle have also been sidelined for almost the entire season while Marco Reus is still recovering from a ruptured cruciate ligament. Furthermore, Erik Durm and Marcel Schmelzer are also sidelined, leaving a void in the full backs positions. Up front, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will lead the line with Christian Pulisic, Mario Gotze, Andriy Yarmolenko and Maximilian Philipp competing for the three offensive midfielders spots. Nuri Sahin and Gonzalo Castro are likely to start in the middle of the park.



Real Madrid recorded a much-needed 2-1 win against Alaves over the weekend. Prior to that, they only won one of their previous four league games, a negative run that includes a recent 1-0 defeat at home to Real Betis and two draws against Levante and Valencia. As a result, Zinedine Zidane's men are already 7 points shy of Barcelona in La Liga. As to the Champions League, Los Blancos lead Group H after beating 3-0 APOEL Nicosia in their opening match. Real and BVB are not strangers in this competitions. Last season, we saw both group games between them ending in 2-2 draws.

Karim Benzema and Marcelo are the most prominent players missing from Real's selection with muscular injuries. Nacho will play as left back given that Theo Hernandez is also unavailable. Anyway, Gareth Bale and Luka Modric will almost certainly return to the starting lineup, meaning that Zidane could start Casemiro, Modric and Kroos in the midfield with Isco, Bale and Ronaldo upfront. Dani Ceballos and Marcos Asensio provide further options in midfield and attack respectively.
