Head coach Zlatko Dalic is expected to shift back to the 4-1-4-1 formation here as Andrej Kramaric or Ivan Perisic could be left out of the starting XI. Marcelo Brozovic will feature from the off and this would enable Luka Modric to play further forward. Sime Vrsaljko has been ruled out after sustaining an injury against Russia and will be replaced by Vedran Corluka. Goalkeeper Danijel Subasic and Dejan Lovren are not 100% fit but they will both start the match. Mario Mandzukic will spearhead the attack as usual.
Gareth Southgate is expecting to have a fully fit squad coming into this game. Jordan Henderson is expected to start despite previously complaining of a tight hamstring while Jamie Vardy fit enough to make the bench against Sweden. The likes of Harry Maguire, John Stones and Kyle Walker will form an unchanged three man backline, while Kieran Trippier and Ashley Young are favourites to start as wing backs. Jesse Lingard and Dele Alli will support the front duo Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane, with Ruben Loftus Cheek providing a viable option.
England (3-1-4-2): Pickford – Walker, Stones, Maguire – Dier – Trippier, Lingard, Alli, Young – Sterling, Kane.

Croatia v England betting preview
Croatia will have to improve some way if they are to win the World Cup
Croatia were engaged in a 120 minute battle with host nation Russia. They advanced through penalty shootouts, as they did against Denmark in the last 16 round. Manuel Fernandes’ equalising header five minutes from time could well have seen Croatian heads drop, yet they picked themselves up and showed huge mental fortitude to hold their nerve and win a second successive shootout. The Blazers looked poor throughout the last two matches, and they struggled to create much. Anyway, Zlatko Dalic's men were impressive in the group stage, beating 2-0 Nigeria, 2-1 Iceland and hammering 3-0 Argentina. Having played two 120-minute matches in the space of six days, the Croatian players must be feeling some physical as well as mental fatigue.Head coach Zlatko Dalic is expected to shift back to the 4-1-4-1 formation here as Andrej Kramaric or Ivan Perisic could be left out of the starting XI. England have lost just one of their last 15 matches
England will feature the World Cup semi-final for the first time since 1990 following an impressive 2-0 victory over Sweden on Saturday afternoon, courtesy of two headers from Harry Maguire and Dele Alli. The match went as expected, with the Swedes happy to sit deep and defend and England dominating the ball. England and Croatia have faced each other seven times, with four wins for England, one draw, and two Croatia victories. The Three Lions ran out 4-1 and 5-1 winners when the teams met in the World Cup 2010 qualification group. The fact they are the fresher of the two sides will benefit them.Gareth Southgate is expecting to have a fully fit squad coming into this game.
