France vs Germany will be played in Munich (Germany) on Monday 15th June 2021 will be televised on ITV for free, with kick-off at 8pm BST.

Last November’s 6-0 thrashing by Spain in the Nations League had alarm bells ringing and a 2-1 loss to North Macedonia in Duisburg in World Cup qualifying last March was equally disappointing.

Probable Line-Ups

Karim Benzema had to come off against Bulgaria last week, but has shaken off a knock and should be fit to start alongside Kylian Mbappe. Should the Real Madrid striker start the match, Antoine Griezmann will be moved in the number 10 position, with Paul Pogba and Adrien Rabiot flanking N'Golo Kantè in midfield. Corentin Tolisso and Kurt Zouma are not 100% fit and probably they will not be risked. Lucas Hernandez should recover in time to feature here, with Lucas Digne on standby to play as left-back if needed.

Germany (3-4-2-1): Neuer; Ginter, Hummels, Rudiger; Kimmich, Kroos, Gundogan, Gosens; Havertz, Muller; Gnabry

Serge Gnabry is expected to lead the line, with Kai Havertz and Thomas Muller favourites to start behind the former Arsenal forward. Leroy Sanè and Timo Werner provide further options. Leon Goretzka continues to work his way back from a muscle problem and is unlikely to be risked. As a result, Toni Kroos and Ilkay Gundogan should feature from the off in midfield. Joachim Low trialled a three-man defence in the last two friendlies. The likes Antonio Rudiger, Mats Hummels and Matthias Ginter expected to provide protection to Manuel Neuer.

France have lost just one of their last 20 outings - against Ukraine - and are narrowly favored to win this clash. Les Blues should be able to see off the Germans despite playing in Munich.
