The Netherlands will make their long-awaited return to a major tournament after missing both Euro 2016 and Russia 2018. They play an entertaining style of football and are unbeaten in six coming into Sunday's match.

The inexperienced Jurrien Timber will start alongside Stefan de Vrij and club teammate Daley Blind in the three man backline with Denzel Dumfries and Owen Wijndal as wing backs. Up front, Memphis Depay and Wout Weghorst will lead the line, supported by Georgino Wijnaldum and Frenkie De Jong from midfield.

Ukraine (5-3-2): Bushchan; Karavayev, Zabarnyi, Kryvtsov, Matviyenko, Mykolenko; Shaparenko, Sydorchuk, Zinchenko; Malinovskyi, Yaremchuk

Andriy Shevchenko looks set to go for a three-man defence, with Man City's Oleksandr Zinchenko playing as left wing-back and Oleksandr Karavaev on the other flank. Up front, Ruslan Malinovski is expected to partner Roman Yaremchuk on the frontline with Mikola Shaparenko playing as offensive midfielder. Georgi Bushchan is now first choice between the sticks.
