2014 has been a disappointing season for John Part as he has only been past the last 32 in two tournaments all year. Furthermore, John Part has only won two matches on TV since the 2012 Grand Slam.

Keegan Brown reached the quarter-finals of the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton last month beating Adrian Lewis in the group stage and knocking out Raymond Van Barneweld along the way.

Part and Brown have met only twice, both this year, and on both occasions Brown has won - 6-1 back in February in a UK Open qualifier and then 6-5 in a PDC European Tour UK qualifier last July.
