JUVENTUS v NAPOLI BETTING PREVIEW

Juventus reached the Champions League knockout stages and they are leading the chase for the Serie A title, three points ahead Roma in the standings after the Giallorossi's draw against AC Milan last Saturday. The Bianconeri recorded a 3-1 win over Cagliari last time out and are on a ten-match unbeaten run at the moment.

Leonardo Bonucci returns to the starting line-up after missing the Cagliari game through suspension but Barzagli, Marrone, Romulo, Asamoah and Caceres are out injured. Fernando Llorente is favourite over Alvaro Morata to partner Carlos Tevez up front.

Napoli did well to bounce back from a 2-0 loss to Milan, easily beating 2:0 Parma last Thursday and leapfrogged Sampdoria and Genoa in the race for third place. The Azzurri are capable of both effective and entertaining performances, but are inconsistent. They're joint-11th in the league in goals allowed at present.

Rafa Benitez will likely play with his favoured 4-2-3-1 formation in which Gonzalo Higuain is expected to spearhead the attack, replacing Duvan Zapata. Raul Albiol is back from suspension and will play as central defendes along with Koulibaly. Marek Hamsik will retain his starting spot in midfield while Juan Camilo Zuniga, Lorenzo Insigne and Michu are out injured

Juventus and Napoli have met only twice in the Italian Super Cup. The last edition in 2012 saw Juventus celebrating a 4-2 after extra time. In the last season’s edition of the competition Juventus outclassed Lazio 4-0.
