The Reds are without their fair share of key players. Andrew Robertson and Jordan Henderson should be back in contention following injury, although Alisson and Xherdan Shaqiri are both sidelined. Adrian looks set to start in goal while Joe Gomez is likely to partner Virgil Van Dijk at the heart of the defense. Fabingo and Georgino Wijnaldum should start in midfield while no changes are expected up front, where the likes of Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Manè will retaint their starting berth.
The visitors head to Anfield with a near fully available squad. The only potential absentee is Thomas Lemar, who is struggling with a thigh injury. Alvaro Morata came off after 68 minutes on Saturday and is in contention with fellow Chelsea alumnus Diego Costa for a starting berth up front, alongside Angel Correa. The fit-again Joao Felix should play out wide, with Koke on the other flank. Saul Niguez and Thomas Partey will anchor the midfield while Jose Gimenez could replace Felipe at centre-back. Plus, Diego Simeone will have to pick between Kieran Trippier and Sime Vrsaljko at right-back.
Atletico Madrid (4-4-2): Oblak; Trippier, Savic, Felipe, Renan Lodi; Saul Niguez, Partey, Koke, Joao Felix; Correa, Morata

Liverpool vs Atletico Madrid betting preview
Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 25 home games in European competition
Liverpool are 1-0 down from the first leg and have a little mountain to climb, having failed to score an away goal in Spain. Jurgen Klopp's men have been fairly unconvincing since then, losing two of their four subsequent matches and failing to keep a clean sheet in all four. THe Reds suffered a 3-0 loss at Watford in Premier League (the first league defeat of the season) and were knocked out by Chelsea in the FA Cup (2-0 at Stamford Bridge). Anyway, they have progressed each of the last two times in which they’ve lost away from home in the first leg in this competition. Still fresh in the memory is the manner in which the Reds incredibly overturned a 3-0 first-leg deficit against Barcelona in last season’s semis.
Atletico have only won 2 of their previous 12 away matches in Champions League
Atletico Madrid currently sitting fifth in the La Liga table and a point outside the top four following Saturday's 2-2 draw with third-placed Sevilla. Atletico are yet to win a game on the road this calendar year, including a defeat to third-tier Cultural Leonesa in the cup. With Simeone at the helm La Rojiblancos have won 25 of the 26 two-legged European ties in which they have prevailed in the first leg. The exception cam last season when they were beaten 3-0 away to Juventus at this stage after claiming a 2-0 advantage in Madrid. That result means that the Colchoneros have lost four of their last six away games in the competition including the group stages.
