Mexican head coach Juan Carlos Osorio has no reasons to make changes to his favoruite starting XI. Edson Alvarez will probably start at right-back with Carlos Salcedo feature at centre-back. Chicharito Hernandez should retain his berth as lone striker, with the likes Carlos Vela, Hirving Lozano and Miguel Layun behind him. Andres Guardado and Hector Herrera will anchor the midfield as usual.
Sweden head coach Janne Andersson has no injury concerns here. The return of Manchester United’s center-back Victor Lindelof was the only change to the side that defeated South Korea. As a result, we don't expect wholesale changes here. We can thus expect the same 4-4-2 formation in the following set-up for the Swedes. Ola Toivonen and Marcus Berg should spearhead the attack, with Albin Ekdal, Sebastian Larsson, Viktor Claesson and Emil Forsberg in midfield.
Mexico v Sweden Starting Lineups
Mexico (4-2-3-1): Ochoa – Alvarez, Salcedo, Moreno, Gallardo – Herrera, Guardado – Layun, Vela, Lozano – Chicharito.
Sweden (4-4-2): Olsen – Lustig, Lindelöf, Granqvist, Augustinsson – Claesson, Larsson, Ekdal, Forsberg – Toivonen, Berg.

Mexico v Sweden betting preview
A draw against Sweden would guarantee Mexico a spot in the Round of 16
Mexico continued their impressive start to the World Cup with a hard-fought 2-1 win against South Korea. El Tri deservedly beat Germany in their first match, meaning they will secure top spot in Group F with a point against the Swedes. Anyway, a defeat would seriously complicate the situation likely leaving three sides with six points at the end of the campaign.Mexican head coach Juan Carlos Osorio has no reasons to make changes to his favoruite starting XI. Sweden need to defeat Mexico by a big margin
After a promising 1-0 win over South Korea in their opening round, Sweden were beaten by Toni Kroos’ stunning strike deep into stoppage time against Germany last time out. Janne Andersson's men registered just 24% possession in the game with the current World Champions. That results has ended their three matches run without concede goals to opponents.
