MOLDOVA v WALES BETTING PREVIEW
Moldova are bottom of the table having collected only two points from draws both at home and away with Georgia thus far. They have conceded a whopping eighteen goals in seven matches and enter this match on the back of a heavy defeat at the hands of group leaders Serbia - 3:0 at the Stadion FK Partizan in a game they really struggled to get any kind of foothold in. The reverse fixture against the Dragons, which was the opening match of the group, ended in a 4-0 win for Wales.
Manager Igor Dobrovolski has admitted he is keen to introduce younger players from now on. Anyway, Istanbul Basaksehir defender Alexandru Epureanu will captain the hosts while their main goal threats will be Radu Ginsari who plays for Israeli side Hapoel Haifa. He will be partnered by Bugaiov in a 5-3-2 starting formation. They are still set to be without injured pair Petru Racu and Alexandru Gatcan, but experienced defender Vitalie Bordian is available after suspension.
Wales managed a 1-0 win over Austria on Saturday evening courtesy of a Ben Woodburn’s sensational winner. That result, along with Ireland's 1-1 draw in Georgia, has stopped a run of five consecutive draws which had threatened to scupper their World Cup hopes and has breathed new life into the Dragons' World Cup qualifying campaign. They are currently in third position with three games left and four points off the Republic of Ireland in second spot.
After making positive changes to his team and formation at half time, Coleman could give Andy King a start in this one. Midfielder Joe Allen and defender Neil Taylor are both fit and will replace David Edwards and James Collins in the starting XI. Up front, Saturday's hero Ben Woodburn is pushing Tom Lawrence for a place in the side. The Liverpool man could be chosen to partner Gareth Bale and Sam Vokes in attack.
