NAPOLI vs JUVENTUS BETTING PREVIEW 

Napoli are still unbeaten after 14 games and top the Serie A table with a 2 points cushion over Inter Milan and 4 over Juventus. The Partenopei have only dropped 4 points in the league so far, courtesy of goalless draw at home against Inter Milan and away against Chievo. They also boast the best defensive record of the league with just 9 goals conceded (the same as Roma) and have conceded just once in the last three outings (in their 2-1 home victory over AC Milan). They enter this match on the back of a hard-fought 1-0 away success at Udinese and will play an important Champions League match next week. In order to qualify through the knockout stage, Maurizio Sarri's men must beat Feyenoord in the last group stage match and hope that Shakhtar will lose against the already qualified Manchester City.

Coach Sarri has no fresh injury concerns as Arkadiusz Milik and Faouzi Ghoulam are the only injured players. Mario Rui is expected to start as left back, completing the four man backline with Raul Albiol, Kalidou Koulibaly and Elseid Hysaj. In midfield, Allan and Jorginho are likely to join captain Marek Hamsik with Piotr Zielinski and AMadou Diawara as backup options. No changes are possible in the front trio as Lorenzo Insigne, Dries Mertens and Josè Callejon are the only offensive players in the roster, alongside the youngster Ounas.



Juventus back to winning ways at the weekend, beating 3-0 Crotone at home after drawing 0-0 in the first half. Prior to that, the Bianconeri drew 0-0 at home against Barcelona in Champions League, suffered a 3-2 defeat at Sampdoria and narrowly beat rock bottom Benevento at the Allianz Stadium (2-1). Their defense have been a bit shaky (14 goals conceded are too many for their standards) but their attack is the most prolific of the league, with 40 goals scored in 14 fixtures. Juve are also in danger in Champions League - they have Sporting Lisbona one point behind them in the Group C standings and absolutely need to beat Olympiakos in Greece next week.

Former Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain is a major doubt due to a fractured hand and should but could not be replaced by Mario Mandzukic upfront, as the Croatian is also missing through injury. That would see Paulo Dybala playing as false nine on Higuain to be risked. In that Juan Cuadrado and Federico Bernardeschi will be in contention with Douglas Costa for a starting berth as offensive midfielder. Sami Khedira is favourite over Blaise Matuidi to partner Miralem Pjanic in the middle of the park, as Claudio Marchisio still lacks of match fitness. The probable three man backline in front of Gianluigi Buffon will be likely formed by Andrea Barzagli, Giorgio Chiellini and Mehdi Benatia, with Alex Sandro and Mattia De Sciglio as wing backs. Stefan Lichtsteiner is out through injury.
