Gerwyn Price roared into the last-8 round after beating fellow countryman Jonny Clayton 4-2 in an absorbing all-Welsh, high seed clash on Monday. The 2021 World Champion is through to the quarter-finals for the fifth time in his career. Chris Dobey saw off Kevin Doets 4-3 in a comeback win. "Hollywood", who missed 28 darts at a double in a wasteful display of finishing, will now appear in his third straight quarter-final at the PDC World Darts Championship. Earlier this torunament, Dobey beat Alexander Merkx 3-1 with a 95.62 average and Josh Rock 4-2 with a 97.29 average.
