Brighton v Manchester City Betting Preview
Brighton are certain to be in the Conference League next season after comfortably beating Southampton (3-1) over the weekend, courtesy of a Evan Ferguson's brace and a goal scored by Pascal Gross. They need one point to confirm a Europa League spot that is already effectively secured thanks to a +16 goal difference over Aston Villa and, having this game in hand, they are still in with a chance of overtaking Liverpool in fifth position.
There is nothing but pride left for Manchester City to play for. The Cityzens have clinched another Premier League title last Saturday after Arsenal suffered a defeat at Nottingham Forest. Although Pep Guardiola decided to play with fringe players, they Sky Blues beat Chelsea 1-0 at Etihad on Sunday. They will now attempt to secure a historical treble, sicne they will play the FA Cup final against Man UTD and the Champions League final against Inter Milan in the coming weeks.
Best Odds
Brighton are underdogs here but their odds are dramatically shortening. At time of writing, the home win is backable at 3/1 with DAZN Bet. Manchester City backers can get a quite high 22/25 with BetUK, with SpreadEX offering the best price on the draw (17/5).

Probable Line-Ups
Brighton (4-2-3-1): Steele; Gross, Dunk, Colwill, Estupinan; Caicedo, Gilmour; Enciso, Mac Allister, Mitoma; Ferguson
The hosts remain without Tariq Lamptey, Solly March, Adam Lallana, Jeremy Sarmiento, Adam Webster and Jakub Moder. Pascal Gross is likely to play as right-back with Moises Caicedo returning in the middle of the park, where he will be partnered by Billy Gilmour. Levi Colwill and Lewis Dunk will form the centre-back pair, as Joel Veltman is not 100% fit. Up front, Evan Ferguson should get the nod over Danny Welbeck, with Kaoru Mitoma, Julio Enciso and Alexis Mac Allister favorites to start as offensive midfielders. Deniz Undav and Facundo Buonanotte provide further alternatives.
Manchester City (3-2-4-1): Ederson; Walker, Dias, Laporte; Stones, Phillips; B. Silva, Gundogan, Alvarez, Grealish; Haaland.
Pep Guardiola also rotated his team against Chelsea with none all of Erling Haaland, John Stones, Bernardo Silva, Jack Grealish, Ilkay Gundogan, Ederson and Kevin De Bruyne starting. With the exception of De Bruyne, they are all expected to feature from the off here. After scoring against the Blues, Julian Alvarez will retain his starting berth as well as Kalvin Phillips. At the back, with Nathan Akè still sidelined, Kyle Walker will partner Ruben Dias and Aymeric Laporte.
Our Brighton v Manchester City Predictions
The Citizens have put together a remarkable 24-game unbeaten streak across all competitions, winning each of their last 12 Premier League matches in the process.
The Seagulls have won three of their last four home games, albeit losing 5-1 to Everton during this run.
Extra motivation will probably favour the home side. They need at least a draw to secure their Europa League berth for next season. As a a result, we back Brighton to win or draw.
The both teams to score also looks a smart bet while the scoreline could be an entertaining 2-2 draw.
Alexis Mac Allister is our pick among the possible goalscorers.
